The piercing probe (also temperature probe) has a diameter of 3 mm and is ideally suited for measuring the extrudate during hot gas extrusion welding. The probe with handle is simply plugged into the Leister temperature measuring instrument (article number 136.961) with the type K plug and is immediately ready for use. To obtain a precise temperature measurement, the piercing probe is pierced about 10 mm into the extrudate. The temperature sensor corresponds to the best thermocouple class 1 and is equipped with a cable of one meter length.
